A Pest Control Sales and Service professional inspects residential or commercial properties to identify infestations, sells customized, eco-friendly, or traditional pest management plans, and applies treatments to eliminate pests while educating customers on prevention. They service a small route of pest control customers and seek to upgrade their service to add additional services (termite, moisture, etc). They drive sales through door-to-door or in-person consultations, maintain detailed service records, and ensure high customer satisfaction to meet performance quotas.

- Sales & Consulting: Generate leads, conduct in-person property inspections, present pest solutions, and close sales with homeowners or businesses.
- Service & Application: Apply pesticides and insecticides safely in compliance with safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Address client concerns, explain treatment plans, and build long-term relationships.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, services rendered, and materials used.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep service vehicles clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales or pest control is often required, but not always mandatory, as training is provided.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to handle rejection.
- Physical/Environmental: Ability to work in variable weather conditions and carry equipment.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license and, in many cases, state-required pest control certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Base pay is $20 / hr commissions or bonuses based on sales performance.
