Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in San Antonio, TX. The Physical Therapist will provide individualized, one-on-one care focused on pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, hypermobility, orthopedic conditions, and women’s wellness. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, developing and progressing evidence-based treatment plans, providing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, and educating patients on movement, self-management, and lifestyle strategies. The Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with patients to set functional goals, track outcomes, and adjust care plans for optimal progress. Additional duties include maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with referring providers and other healthcare professionals as needed, and contributing to a positive, supportive clinic environment that aligns with the clinic’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pelvic health, pregnancy/postpartum care, and orthopedic conditions.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Patient Care principles, including comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to provide high-quality Rehabilitation and Home Care guidance, including patient education on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and long-term self-management strategies.
- Current Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program and active PT license (or eligibility) in the state of Texas.
- Prior experience or formal training in pelvic floor physical therapy, women’s health, or related specialties preferred; willingness to pursue advanced coursework and continuing education in these areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a trauma-informed, inclusive, and patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong organizational skills, professional documentation practices, and ability to manage a consistent caseload while maintaining high-quality one-on-one care.
