What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics - Mechanical Technician (Contractor) position at Lotus International?
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Set up standard test apparatus/devices.
• Perform product functional testing or quality control verification.
• Provide technical support across multiple projects as needed, including machine setup, calibration, and testing.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Operate, adjust, calibrate, and maintain production machines & equipment.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and gauging equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & other computer software, phone apps, and finding information on the internet.
• Other duties as needed
Job Requierements:
• Strong knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems repair, rework, and assembly.
• 2 years working with manufacturing equipment involving automation, electrical and mechanical systems. (preferred)
• Experience repairing cars, consumer electronics, appliances, HVAC, plumbing, and construction (preferred)
• Technical diploma or associate degree in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication, time management and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accuracy environment
• Be effective & efficient to meet deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
