Duties
- Conduct thorough intake assessments of clients' needs, including crisis intervention and behavioral health evaluations
- Obtain releases for services (DHS, CHC, UP, FD Housing, UDMO, social media
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate counseling, housing, child welfare, and workforce development strategies
- Provide motivational interviewing to motivate clients toward positive behavioral changes
- Coordinate with external agencies such as Section 8 housing programs, Medicare providers, and childcare services to ensure comprehensive support
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or volunteers involved in client care or community outreach initiatives
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques, ensuring safety and stability for clients
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and service plans in compliance with agency policies
Experience
- Proven experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields with a focus on crisis intervention and crisis management
- Prior supervisory or mentoring experience demonstrating leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with counseling techniques and child welfare systems
- Knowledge of available resources: Section 8 housing programs, Medicare regulations, and workforce development initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations including children and adults
- Experience working in community-based settings or healthcare environments preferred
- Certification or training in motivational interviewing or crisis response is highly desirable

Pay: From $16.83 per hour
