What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Group Sales Manager position at Lotte Hotels Americas?
* Concentrate efforts in selling all aspects of the Hotel with an absolute focus on Group business
* Maintain good working relationship with meeting/event planners and buyers
* Prepare proposals/contracts in a timely fashion
* Conduct sales visits, site inspections and outside sales calls
* Develop new markets and sources of business for Group Sales
* Attend tradeshows/sales trips both locally and beyond
* Participate in daily business review meeting and other hotel meetings as appropriate
* Generate ideas for marketing of product such as meeting packages and promotional offers
* Take up special assignments as instructed by Director of Sales
* Work closely with colleagues in the group sales department & meetings and event planning dept
* Maintain close communication with the Director of Sales
* Maintain effective communication channel with Revenue Team and Reservations Manager
* Follow up with clients and coordinate with internal operations department until contract is signed
* Attend and contribute to sales meetings
* Regular update on competitors and market intelligence and shares the information with sales team
* Regular update on Trade shows and shares the information with sales team for follow up
* Assimilate into The New York Palace culture through understanding, supporting and participating in and embracing all elements of our Vision, Core Values and our Pillars of Service
* Always looking out for the best interest of the hotel, guests, staff and ownership
Qualifications:

* Four year college degree is required * Experience working with high level corporate group and incentive market is preferred * Expertise in using Delphi is preferred |
* Proven track record of success in achievement of past sales goals is a definite advantage
Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
