Job Summary
The Warehouse Center Manager provides high-level strategic leadership for the Groveland Service Parts Distribution Center. This role is responsible for the end-to-end operational management of Samsung’s service parts logistics, ensuring 100% compliance with Global Parts Center America (GPCA) standards. You will be tasked with developing a high-performance culture to consistently exceed aggressive shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence & KPI Management
- Maintain top performance metrics, including On-Time Receiving (OTR) KPI % rate.
- Maintain On-Time Shipping (OTS) KPI % rate.
- Strategic Resource Planning
- Optimize labor allocation and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to match fluctuating volume demands and ensure maximum throughput.
- Audit & Quality Governance
- Lead facility through rigorous Samsung audits and operational mock-up tests.
- Ensure strict adherence to all business processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Inventory Integrity & Control
- Oversee complex inventory management across small/shelf, medium, large/bulk, and sensitive LCD Panel storage environments.
- Safety & Compliance Leadership
- Act as primary lead for site safety, ensuring a "Safety First" culture.
- Adhere to all OSHA and facility-specific safety protocols.
- Personnel Development
- Lead, mentor, and direct warehouse associates and supervisors.
- Manage performance reviews and professional development tracks.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Manage monthly AR/AP closing processes.
- Manage equipment leasing budgets (including RT, CB, and OP Forklifts).
- Manage facility maintenance records.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Financial Acumen: Advanced level experience managing operational budgets and equipment leasing.
- Systems Proficiency (WMS/WMP): Advanced competence in Warehouse Management Systems and RF scanning technology integration.
- Multi-Stakeholder Communication: Ability to facilitate weekly alignment meetings with executive leadership, clients, and internal teams.
- Crisis Management: Proven ability to handle changing priorities and exercise sound judgment under high-pressure, fast-paced logistics environments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of DOT, HAZMAT, and OSHA regulations.
Education & Experience
- Experience:
- Minimum of Seven (7) years of Warehouse Management experience (Required).
- Three (3) years of trucking operations experience (Required).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field.
- Logistics Expert: Strong working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
