Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Coffee Machine Repair Technician to join our service team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial and residential coffee machines, ensuring our clients experience minimal downtime and consistent high-quality performance. Duties
- Diagnose issues with espresso machines, drip brewers, grinders, and commercial coffee equipment
- Perform repairs, part replacements, descaling, calibration, and preventive maintenance
- Respond to onsite service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Document all work performed, including parts used and recommendations for future service
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, solutions, timelines, and preventive care
- Install new coffee machines and related equipment at various customer locations, ensuring proper setup and calibration
- Collaborate with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance tips, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct on-site field service visits using a box truck, company vehicle or similar vehicle to deliver timely repairs across multiple sites
Skills
- Prior experience repairing coffee machines or similar small appliances preferred
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical schematics
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for field service roles)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 40–60 lbs and work in various environments
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Delivery driver experiences using a box truck or similar vehicle enhances logistical efficiency
- Ability to work independently in a field service environment while maintaining safety standards
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with brands such as La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, Jura, Breville, Bunn, De Jong Duke, or Keurig
- Electrical or HVAC background
- EPA certification (if applicable to your equipment types)
