We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, and replacing tires with precision and care
- Conduct oil changes and basic vehicle fluid top-offs efficiently
- Assist with wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks including brake repairs, filter replacements, and general repairs as needed
- Support the team in maintaining high standards of quality work and timely service delivery
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tire installation or other maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general repairs
- Valid driver's license required; ability to operate company vehicles if necessary
- Previous experience in sales or upselling additional services is a plus
