Job Overview
Lost Valley Lake Resort is a well-known private, family oriented Campground and Vacation resort near Owensville MO. We are currently hiring members to our Grounds keeping team. Responsibilities for Groundskeeper
- Follow all safety guidelines for the operation and storage of equipment, tools and chemicals
- Perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping equipment
- Daily lawn care to include mowing, trimming, edging, raking and blowing leaves
- Perform regular weeding & watering
- Limb, brush and debris removal
- Lawn maintenance to include lawn, shrubbery, flower pots
- Perform landscaping duties as directed to include planting, watering, weeding
- Perform snow removal with shovel and other equipment, as needed
- Regular custodial work such as debris on walkways, trash removal and disposing of it in the proper containers
Qualifications for Groundskeeper
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Valid Driver’s License is required with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping equipment
- Prior experience in lawn care or snow removal helpful but not required
- Available to work a variety of shift times including nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to operate a variety of equipment and tools such as; mowers, weed eaters, chainsaw, tractor
- Able to lift 30-40 pounds
- Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of temperatures
- Extensive periods of sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pulling, grasping, etc. during shift
- Ability to understand verbal directions and closely execute with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to work location
Employment with Lost Valley Lake Resort is contingent upon a successful background check and pre-employment drug test. Applicants who have failed a pre-employment screening or have been terminated from Lost Valley Lake Resort are ineligible for consideration 12 months from the date of the incident.
Direct deposit is required for payroll purposes.
A driving record check will be conducted for all new employees.
