About the Role
Lost Valley Lake Resort is looking for a reliable, hands-on Service Center Attendant to support our Housekeeping Department. This is not a “stand behind a counter all day” job. It’s active, practical work that keeps our entire operation running smoothly.
Our Service Center is the hub for laundry, linens, inventory, cleaning supplies, and a small retail area for guest purchases. If you like staying busy, staying organized, and being the person who makes sure everything is where it’s supposed to be, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and manage commercial laundry systems
- Organize and refill cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Sew curtains, mend cushions, and handle minor fabric repairs (will train if needed)
- Receive department orders
- Run the register for guest purchases (firewood, ice, supplies, etc.)
- Assist guests with purchases and basic questions
- Take orders for RV winterization in storage
- Coordinate with maintenance for propane fills, and rental issues
- Answer phones and route calls appropriately
- Keep accurate records and track service forms
- Keep the Service Center clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Team Lead
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable multitasking and staying organized
- Basic sewing skills (curtains, cushion repairs)
- Able to lift and move supplies (linens, chemicals, firewood, etc.)
- Comfortable working with cleaning products and commercial laundry equipment
- Friendly and professional with guests
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Able to work independently but also as part of a team
Hospitality or retail experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic matters more.
