We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beer and delivering exceptional customer service for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable and fun experience. Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS, TouchBistro POS, and Square POS, along with strong time management skills, are highly valued. Previous background in food safety, food handling, and retail math will support success in this position. The Bartender will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while fostering a lively and enjoyable environment.
The ideal candidate will be available to work most week nights on a regular basis.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Toast POS and Square POS
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet functions to ensure seamless service
- Handle food safety protocols during food handling and serving processes
- Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or private parties
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in casual dining, brewpubs, or wineries
- Knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS, ToouchBistro POS, and Square POS is preferred
- Strong skills in sales, serving, cash handling, and retail math are advantageous
- Experience in food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential
- Background in brewing or the food industry enhances ability to serve diverse beverage selections
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or nightclubs
- Certified beer server or cicerone certification is a plus
