In this role, you will craft and serve beverages and take food orders (and serve them) ensuring customer is 1st combined with will contribute to a "at ease" atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food handling standards and safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
- Assist in setting up bar stations for events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready
- Collaborate with team members
Skills
- Preferred experience (not required) in food service
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and bill splitting
