Job Summary and Qualifications

The Anesthesia Technician will be a licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of the Operating Room Manager and Chief of Anesthesia for assisting in the OR suites, Labor & Delivery, Cath Lab, Radiology, Special Procedures or any department as directed by the Anesthesiologist.

• The Anesthesia tech sets up, moves, prepares and maintains all Anesthesia machines, equipment, supplies for the Anesthesiologist
• Provides technical support to Anesthesiologists by means of invasive and non-invasive monitoring assistance
• Assists in the orientation, training and education of new personnel
• Assists in the maintaining of safe and aseptic environment for all patients
• Performs all related duties as assigned and directed

Requirements:

• ASATT Certification Preferred
• BCLS Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
