As a Clinical Pharmacist, your work plays an important role in the care of patients and healthcare providers by assuring the safe and the effective use of medications as needed. Los Robles Regional Medical Center is a 380 bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the residents of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties along with the Greater Conejo Valley. - You will have daily interaction with your pharmacy team, nurses, physicians and other facility staff in the hospital and intervene in conflicts between pharmacy and medical staff regarding drug therapy issue resolutions that may arise
- You will provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, orders laboratory tests, medication monitoring according to established policies and procedures
- You will have the opportunity to participate in the training of new pharmacists, pharmacy students, and technicians
- One-year acute care hospital experience
- Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy
