What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Medical Assistant position at Los Gatos Pediatrics?
Conveniently located near Hwy 85 and Hwy 17, Los Gatos Pediatrics has been serving the beautiful community of Los Gatos and rest of South Bay for the past 30 yrs.We have a busy practice with 4 full-time pediatricians.We believe in imparting quality, professional and loving family-centered care to our community of patients.If you’d like to be part of this wonderful practice and help children and their families grow stronger every step of the way consider joining us.Job responsibilities include:1. Checking in patients, verifying insurance and collecting co-pays2. Attending to multiple phone lines and scheduling patients for 4 doctors.3. Taking patient messages for nurse advise, or for doctors.4. Receiving and sending faxes5. Helping patients with any paperwork they might need for school, filling school forms.6. Scanning labs and reports into patient files.7. Working on Referrals to specialist.8. Knowledge of creating and working on doctor's schedule 9. Sending and receiving Faxes This is a full-time job, Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional Saturday mornings may be expected.The front desk is a very busy place and you will receive many phone calls all day long. We offer competitive salaries and paid vacation time.We need candidates with at least a High School Diploma and Completion Certificate from a reliable Medical Assistant or Medical Administrative Program.
