As a Treatment Nurse, You Will Ensure That Residents Receive Timely, Accurate, And Compassionate Skin And Wound Care. Under The Direction Of The DON/ADON And In Collaboration With The Nursing Team, You Will

Your Role as a Treatment Nurse
As a Treatment Nurse, You Will Ensure That Residents Receive Timely, Accurate, And Compassionate Skin And Wound Care. Under The Direction Of The DON/ADON And In Collaboration With The Nursing Team, You Will
- Provide and document all wound treatments per physician orders
- Assess skin condition and report any changes promptly
- Monitor healing progress and update care plans as necessary
- Participate in wound rounds
- Assist in preventing skin breakdown by following established protocols
- Educate staff on skin integrity, turning schedules, and proper care procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Promote a safe and positive care environment
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
