What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Events & Stadium Operations position at Los Angeles Chargers?
The Manager, Events & Stadium Operations for the Los Angeles Chargers, is a highly organized professional with a passion for event management and stadium operations. This individual should also have experience in live event planning and execution. The Manager, Events & Stadium Operations, will work closely with internal departments in executing Chargers’ events such as NFL Draft, Training Camp and Fan events throughout the year.
This person will assist in all aspects of gameday execution including but not limited to; team activations, NFL credential implementation, signage deployment, on field activity, and visiting team logistics. This person will work closely with SOFI stadium staff in gameday execution as well as non-gameday events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide support for all internal departments
· Ability to work all training camp days at The Bolt and gamedays at SOFI Stadium
· Work closely with the SOFI stadium team during gamedays for all internal needs
· Manage vendors during event load in as well as post event for cost settlements
· Assist with managing events at The Bolt
· Create and manage event timelines, operational checklists, and internal event production notes
· Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations to ensure continuous improvement
· Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, internal staff, and stadium staff regarding all operational matters
· Gain a high-level understanding of Accredit – the NFL’s credentialing system – to effectively support all aspects of its execution

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of event operations experience required.
· Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
· Ability to interact with people of all different levels and backgrounds in a team environment.
· Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
· Creative thinker and problem solver.
· Flexible schedule (able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed).
