About the Role
An established civil engineering and land development firm is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Project Designer to join its team in Towson, MD.
Whether you’re just starting your career or have up to 5 years of experience, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful land development projects — from residential neighborhoods to commercial developments. You’ll be involved in site engineering for roadways, water and sewer systems, storm drains, stormwater management, grading, and erosion control.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of land development projects.
- Prepare site engineering drawings for roads, utilities, stormwater systems, and grading.
- Assist with project coordination and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver quality results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (EIT License preferred).
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience in land development and site design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D, TR-55, HydroCAD, and/or Pondpack experience is a plus).
