Job Description:
The Fraud Analyst will act as a key partner to the credit card business getting portfolio level fraud insights and helping business shape medium to long-term fraud strategies that balance loss mitigation customer experience and growth objectives The role will focus less on individual case handling and more on trend analysis strategy design and cross functional alignment with business risk and technology teams
Strategic Job Duties
- Own end-to-end analysis of fraud trends across the issuer credit card portfolio and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations for the business
- Define and refine the overall fraud strategy and roadmap short medium and long-term aligned with business goals risk appetite and customer experience expectations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing fraud policies rules models and controls at a portfolio level and propose strategic optimizations eg targeting specific segments channels or products
- Lead strategic initiatives to reduce fraud losses false positives and customer friction including championing pilots AB tests and multiphase strategy rollouts
- Partner closely with product marketing digital and operations teams to embed fraud considerations into new product launches feature design and channel strategies
- Monitor the external fraud landscape industry trends schemes regulatory changes network rules and proactively incorporate these insights into issuer fraud strategies and playbooks
