Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in masonry work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a crew on residential and/or commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lay brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials
- Mix mortar and grout to proper specifications
- Repair, restore, and build masonry structures
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of masonry experience
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials
- General understanding of reading blueprints/plans
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Valid driver’s license preferred
