Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Mason to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with some masonry experience who are looking to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced masons on residential and/or commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist journeyman masons with masonry work including brick, block, and stone
- Mix mortar and grout to proper specifications
- Prepare materials, tools, and job sites
- Perform basic masonry tasks and repairs under supervision
- Follow safety and quality standards at all times
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
Requirements:
- 6 months–2 years of masonry or related construction experience
- Basic understanding of masonry tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Valid driver’s license preferred
