Job Summary
The TIG Welder, under the direction of the Production Supervisor, will be responsible to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and Health and Safety guidelines. This position will ensure high standards of workmanship, quality, efficiencies and customer needs.

Job Duties
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
- Majority of work TIG welding, with some MIG welding depending on the project
- Read Blue Prints / Drawings
- Examine for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications, mark, record, and report defective products
- Ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment at all times
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment / tools
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
- Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve any issues
Job Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma and Welding diploma (Certificate) and or equivalent experience will be an asset
- Minimum 3 years TIG experience; preferably in custom fabrication welding
- Previous experience as a MIG Welder considered an asset
- Strong working knowledge of various metal finishing tools and methods
- Must have the ability and experience working with different types and functions of metal (Aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel, etc.)
- Must have initiative to inspect own work for quality compliance
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Valid Driver’s License
Work Conditions
- Fast paced environment with high job variety

- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Full time Monday – Friday
- 8 hour shifts up to 48 hours/week
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
