As a Bus Aide, you'll be the ultimate ride-along guardian angel, providing safety, support, and a whole lot of heart to our passengers. Buckle up for a rewarding journey with our team and help us save the day, one ride at a time!
Responsibilities:
- Assist students/passengers with boarding, riding, and exiting the bus
- Ensure safe securement of wheelchairs and passengers
- Monitor behavior and provide support to prevent incidents
- Communicate with drivers, passengers, and parents/guardians
- Maintain a clean and organized bus environment
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- must be 18 to apply
Requirements:
- Special needs training or experience (e.g., autism, physical disabilities)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull wheelchairs or passengers, if necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with special needs individuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Background check and clearance
- Drug test (Safety Sensitive Position)
