Job Summary
The bartender role will ensure that all guest are treated warmly and provided with luxury service in addition to making and serving drinks as per the NIDO standards.
Responsibilities:
- Mixes, pours and serves drinks as per standard, following recipes
- Ensure that the visual presentation of the bar space and the service provided is aligned with the hotel's identity
- Participate in all aspects of the bar service as needed
- Completes opening and closing lists as needed
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
- Focus on guest satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by being readily available/approachable for all guests
- Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 2 years of bartending experience in a high volume or luxury setting
- Experience working in high-end hotel outlets environment strongly preferred
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to take ownership of issues
- Ability to embody and impart the Loren’s unique culture to all associates
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school or equivalent education required.
Policy and Service Responsibility
- Must adhere to all hotel loss prevention guidelines
Physical Requirements
- Able to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand at least 60%
- Must be able to sit and squat frequently
