Position Overview

The Program Coordinator plays a strategic role in advancing institutional and grant-funded initiatives through effective support of project management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. This position acts as a critical connector across academic departments, operations teams, and external partners to ensure all projects are aligned with Lorain County Community College’s (LCCC) mission, funding requirements, and strategic priorities.

Reporting to the Director of Institutional Planning and Engagement, the Coordinator collaborates closely with grant leads, faculty, and operational units. They are responsible for convening implementation teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring timely communication across stakeholders. Key deliverables include meeting materials, internal updates, financial summaries, and formal reports.

Success in this role requires a proactive, organized approach and a strong commitment to transparency, alignment, and forward-thinking planning. The Coordinator’s contributions are integral to driving progress in student success, workforce innovation, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convene cross-functional teams and facilitate communication across stakeholders
  • Develop reports, briefings, and materials for internal and external audiences
  • Monitor project budgets and assist with forecasting and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with institutional and federal grant requirements
  • Support alignment, efficiency and maximize impact across related projects and initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate degree and a minimum of 4–7 years of related experience

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience

OR

  • Master’s degree and a minimum of 1 years of related experience
  • Project or grant management experience
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with federal grants and compliance

Preferred

  • Training in project management and budgeting

Tools Used: SmartSheet, Oracle, Microsoft 365

Minimum Salary of $67,800. The salary is commensurate with experience and supported by a comprehensive fringe benefits package.
