Union / Classification: OAPSE 120 / Special Education Paraprofessionals
Reports to: Building Administrator(s) and/or Executive Director for the Office of Exceptional Children or designee
Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour (2025/26 school year)

Required Certification(s)
- must be a highly-qualified paraprofessional under the provisions of ESSA and ORC 3319.074 by evidencing one of the following requirements:
- Associate of Arts Degree or higher (official transcripts required); OR
- two years of college totaling 48 or more semester hours (official transcripts required); OR
- passing score of 456 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment (copy of ParaPro Assessment results).
- AND must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aid Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
