About The Role
LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a Technical Lead / Software Architect to lead the technical design and development of our Wearable Safety Technology Platform. This individual will define the platform architecture, establish engineering standards, and oversee the development of our web platform, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and wearable integrations.
The Technical Lead will work closely with the Director of Product, AI & Machine Learning Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Mobile Developer, and UI/UX Design Lead to transform the product vision into a secure, scalable, and reliable technology platform.

About The Role

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the overall software architecture.
- Lead technical planning and engineering strategy.
- Define coding standards, development workflows, and best practices.
- Guide backend, frontend, mobile, and cloud development.
- Oversee API architecture and third-party integrations.
- Ensure platform security, scalability, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor volunteer developers.
- Collaborate with the Product Director to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support AI, wearable device, and mobile application integrations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend technical improvements.
- Experience as a Technical Lead, Software Architect, or Senior Software Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and system design.
- Experience building scalable web and mobile applications.
- Experience with REST APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and software integration.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
