What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age After School Teacher position at Loop Recruiting?
We are in need of school age after care teachers for The Bradley Schools at the Greenbrier location.
They are seeking teachers with experience working with toddlers between the ages of 5 and 9 years who are available to work from 3 to 6pm or 1 to 6pm EST.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all children at all times
- Follow established policies and procedures for child care center
Qualifications:
- Experience in childcare, nannying, or daycare setting
- Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and early childhood education
- Familiarity with special education needs is a plus
- Ability to educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
