Loop Linen Service, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead and develop our Service Team in Westwego, Louisiana. The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, accountability, and operational success of the branch’s route operations and personnel.
This position currently oversees a fleet of 11 service routes, 2 Route Supervisors, and 1 Hot Shot Driver while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, employee development, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the daily operations and performance of 11 service routes.
- Directly supervise and develop 2 Route Supervisors.
- Lead, train, coach, and hold service personnel accountable to company standards and expectations.
- Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct route rides and field observations to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Develop and maintain a highly productive team of Route Sales Representatives.
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Assist with customer retention and renewal of Customer Service Agreements.
- Conduct vehicle inspection audits and ensure fleet compliance.
- Monitor branch performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and communication through Microsoft Office applications and company software systems.
- Utilize Alliant software effectively or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the system.
- Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.t
- Assist with all other Service Department responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience in route operations, logistics, transportation, service, or related industries is required.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.
- Experience with Alliant software preferred, or the ability to quickly learn the system.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must possess a valid Chauffeur’s License.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
