Craft Café Cook & Barista | Matcha, Espresso & Fresh Kitchen
Join a Team That Takes Pride in the Details
At Loop, we're passionate about serving thoughtfully prepared food and drinks in an environment where hospitality comes first. Every member of our team is cross-trained throughout the café, learning everything from espresso and matcha to smoothie bowls, breakfast sandwiches, and our full made-to-order menu.
We're a locally owned café with locations in Latham and Clifton Park, built around quality ingredients, genuine service, and a commitment to doing things well. If you enjoy working with purpose, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and appreciate the satisfaction of creating something exceptional, we'd love to meet you.

Our cafés are open:
- Monday–Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What Makes Someone Successful Here
You'll fit in well if you:
- Enjoy working hard alongside a close-knit team.
- Naturally notice what needs to be done and take initiative.
- Stay calm, organized, and positive during busy rushes.
- Treat every guest with warmth and genuine hospitality.
- Take pride in consistency, cleanliness, and craftsmanship.
- Care about producing food and beverages you're proud to serve.
- Value accountability and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Every shift is different, but responsibilities include:
- Prepare specialty coffee, espresso drinks, ceremonial-grade matcha, smoothies, smoothie bowls, artisan toast, breakfast sandwiches, and other café offerings.
- Learn and execute every menu item according to our preparation and presentation standards.
- Work collaboratively to prepare guest orders quickly while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Create a welcoming experience by engaging with guests and anticipating their needs.
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and food preparation tasks.
- Maintain an organized, sanitary, and efficient workspace throughout every shift.
- Help create a positive team culture built on respect, communication, and reliability.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is helpful, but we place just as much value on attitude, dependability, and a willingness to learn.
The strongest candidates demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time management and the ability to multitask.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Sound judgment and solution-oriented thinking.
- Reliability, professionalism, and personal accountability.
- The ability to work independently while supporting the team.
A Note About This Position
We genuinely enjoy meeting people who are interested in hospitality. Because this role requires multitasking, initiative, and a high level of personal responsibility from day one, it may not be the best fit as a first job for someone who has not yet had experience managing responsibilities outside of school.
If you're excited by great food, exceptional coffee, and the opportunity to grow alongside a team that values craftsmanship and hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.
