Overview
Hudson Roastery is a busy cafe located in Hudson, NY open 7 days a week, serving our in-house roasted coffee and a chef inspired breakfast and lunch menu.
We are hiring an exceptional focused Kitchen Support team member who has experience and can work collaboratively with other team members. You have a strong work ethic, are reliable, clean and organized.
Strong communication skill are required along with speaking English fluently not through translator. You must have proper work credentials; social security card or green card.
Responsibilities
- Support our chef team on food prep.
- Deliver food orders to patrons along with clearing tables
- Load and run a commercial dishwashing station
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including taking out garbage during the day.
- Follow recipes accurately and take leadership direction from chefs.Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen: food/kitchen prep, dishwasher, serving skills
- Strong work ethic, punctual and reliably
- Observant with strong attention to detail.
- Organization skill set with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent hospitality, communication and customer service skills.
- Team player - ability to work we’ll in a collaborative environment
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
