Logistics Technician (12hr Night Shift)

The Logistics Technician position is in charge of critical material supply, flow and availability to ensure that Lonza operates continuously without interruptions. Located in our Printing department USW are in charge of moving boxes and supplying the operations of packaging.
This position will follow all plant policies and safety guidelines at Lonza
Essential Functions:
Manually transport critical materials (packaging, raw materials, equipment) to defined destinations
Properly account for material and their defined process flows through electronic scanning
Prepare equipment and materials for the next stage of the process according to work instructions
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, etc.
Must be able to work additional hours/days as business needs dictate
Attendance in the plant site is considered an essential function
The Logistics Technician provides backup for other Logistics Technicians
Other Duties:
Must meet expectations on Safety, Attendance, Teamwork, Quality, and Productivity metrics.
Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Must score a 100 or less on Color Test
Basic computer skills
Lift, push, pull, objects up to 50 lbs
