Customer Support and Shipping Assistant
Duties:
- Receive inventory. Duties include inspecting items for damage, cleaning, packaging, taking photos, and labeling inventory.
- Prepare items for shipping, including packaging and labeling, and oversee carrier pickups or deliveries.
- Communicate with customers through email regarding shipments, questions, and any issues that may arise.
- Cooperate in maintaining shipping inventory.
- Ability to drop off orders at USPS and UPS locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized office environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to sit, stand,and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items of at least 25-50 pounds.
- Must have their own vehicle.
- Ability to assemble orders and ship them cost-effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures.
- Ability to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to clean parts, work on a computer, and/or related office equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of computers and typing proficiency.
- Proficient in using Google Suite (sheet/docs/drive).
- Experience in the auto industry and/or fluent in Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
