Longmark commits to doing what's right, ensuring every decision reflects a focus on sustainable success.Entrepreneurial Spirit and Strength: Longmark fosters bold action, empowering its team to think critically, act decisively, and innovate confidently within a framework of operational excellence.Data Sophistication: Advanced data capabilities drive precision in decision-making, ensuring exceptional outcomes for investors and partners.We're building the world's largest alternative asset manager the smart way and are seeking dynamic professionals who want to be part of this journey.Key Responsibilities: Financial Data Preparation: Import financial data (1,000–25,000 lines) to complete asset-level journal entries for comingled and PE fund investment vehicles.Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.Expense Management: Review and approve property managers' weekly draw requests for funds required to cover operating expenses and capital expenditures.Variance Analysis: Review and prepare variance analyses on third-party property managers' financial statements, investigating unusual fluctuations and unexpected activities.Property Tax Management: Maintain tracking databases to ensure timely payment and accurate recording of property taxes across the portfolio.Policy Oversight: Assist in developing and ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures, including cash management, bad-debt write-offs, and expense capitalization.Reporting & Analysis: Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures at the portfolio and asset levels for senior management and external investors.Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with and support internal and external property management and asset management teams as needed.Cash Projections: Collaborate with the capital markets team to maintain forward-looking projections of the cash position for each investment vehicle.Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.Three (3) years experience in accounting for a multifamily or single-family rental (SFR) owner/manager.Proficient in Excel and General Ledger/Property Management Software Program is required.Experience with Propertyware and/or NetSuite is a plus.Ability to effectively present and information and respond to questions from management, vendors, and associates.Adhere to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for deliverables.Strong written and oral skills.Accurate with a strong attention to detail.We provideA collaborative, people-first culture with a passion for doing good and enjoying doing itA unique opportunity to build our brand in the early stagesCompetitive benefits and compensation, including 401(k) w/matchChoice between hybrid and fully remote workFlexible PTO (with a 3-week minimum)9 paid holidaysWhy Join Longmark Group?At Longmark Group, our innovative strategies and culture empower every team member to make meaningful contributions and drive exceptional outcomes for investors and communities alike.
