Role Description The Truss Designer is a full-time, remote position. This role is responsible for interpreting architectural and structural drawings to design roof and floor truss systems that meet building codes, safety standards, and customer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed truss layouts using design software, performing structural calculations, and coordinating with production teams to ensure accurate manufacturing. The Truss Designer will communicate regularly with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to clarify project requirements, resolve technical issues, and provide design recommendations. The role also involves reviewing designs for quality, making revisions as needed, and maintaining documentation for each project.
