What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate Mid Shift 12:00 pm -10:30 am position at Longhorn Fabrication?
Warehouse Associate Level I
They will train on the 1st shift (M-TH 6:00 am-4:30 pm) for a couple of weeks and then transition to the mid shift (M-TH 12 pm-10:30 pm) Overtime is mandatory when we have the workload.
Accurate Job Reporting
Warehouse associates are responsible for clocking in and out on jobs and posting quantities accurately. This accountability ensures proper labor tracking, supports production planning, and maintains transparency throughout the manufacturing process.
Skills and Abilities
Warehouse Associate Level I
· Responsible for labeling and storing material in system designated locations, or as directed by their supervisor, or plant managers.
· Able to utilize scanners to move work in progress (WIP) to designated locations, or locations requested by production supervisors.
· Proficient in professional packaging of material for shipment based on Longhorns standard packaging instruction, or customer specification when required.
· Operate forklifts (certification required), pallet jacks, and banding and wrapping machines.
· Maintains a clean and organized work area during shift, follows end of shift clean up requirements, and supports plant cleaning program as directed by their supervisor.
· Assists in training and mentoring new warehouse associates.
· Maintains a clean and organized work area during shift and performs end of shift clean-up activities to put away tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, cleaning machines, sweeping floor, and throwing out trash.
· Performs any other duties or activities required by supervisors and managers.
· Follows all company policies and safety guidelines.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
