We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who will play a key role both in the field and in the office.
This position is primarily driving-focused and involves servicing patients and facilities, delivering equipment, and maintaining medical equipment, while also supporting office operations as needed. This position requires travel between our Iowa Falls and Hampton locations, as well as service to patients and facilities within a two-hour radius.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver, set up, and service medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Drive a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and facility staff
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with customer inquiries and orders
- Maintain positive, open communication with patients/clients and referral sources
- Set up new patient/client files and verify insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance)
- Complete and review paperwork for accuracy and compliance
- Assist walk-in customers in a professional and user-friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store, vehicles, and equipment
- Follow all applicable OSHA, DOT, FDA, HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines
- Assist Location Manager with equipment tracking, maintenance logs, and inventory
- Participate in on-call rotation for deliveries and service needs
- Represent Long Term Medical Supply in a positive and professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel regularly and work independently in the field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Previous data entry and computer experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move medical equipment
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-Time
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule
