We are recruiting for a Nurse Educator. The RN Nurse Educator is responsible for staff education, clinical training, and competency validation in a long-term care facility. This role supports the facility in providing high-quality resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting ongoing professional development for nursing staff.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff
Conduct skills training, competency assessments, and return demonstrations
Educate staff on clinical best practices, infection prevention, and safety
Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness
Maintain education and competency records
Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff
Qualifications
Active RN license for NYS
2 years nursing experience; long-term care preferred
Experience in staff education or training preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
BSN or higher
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience as a Nurse Educator
