What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Specialist position at Long's Jewelers?
As Digital Marketing Specialist, your job supports the Marketing team with the creation of visual stories for multiple channels – both traditional and emerging – that engage, inform and above all inspire. You will be challenged with staying true to Long’s brand of nearly 150 years, while simultaneously pushing to elevate and evolve our visual DNA. Successful candidates will bring an understanding of fashion trends and a creative, proactive mindset when approaching content creation and business opportunities.
Essential Job Functions / Core Responsibilities:
- Support the development of fresh, best-in-class content that speaks to our luxury clientele, with a focus on owned channels (social media, email, eCommerce)
- Work closely with channel leaders to bring stories to life, helping to concept, brief in, and distribute assets across channels (web, paid, social, email)
- Assist in day-to-day marketing channel operations for organic social and email, including planning, posting, and reporting
- Assist with daily product transfers and inventory management
- Remain current on best practices in content creation across photo, video, and audio editing, with a strong eye for luxury, fashion, and design
- Stay up-to-date on luxury jewelry, timepiece and fashion trends
- Assist as needed in retail marketing needs related to updated print creative and event coordination
- Maintain assets and keep all project materials organized for easy access
- Assist in creative operations and project management, continuing to help build internal marketing processes that allow our team to stay organized and work together seamlessly
- Appear on camera as a brand ambassador for Long’s, participating in photo and video content for digital channels as needed
- Collaborate on TikTok strategy and build content plans to establish and scale the platform as a key emerging digital channel
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1-2 years with experience in social media and/or email storytelling, including general knowledge of content management tools
- Effective at communicating conceptual ideas and design
- Strategic, positive, proactive, and collaborative
- Self-starter who works both independently and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to execute under tight deadlines
- Comfortable working across teams and departments
- Able to drive to all Long’s locations
Salary Range: Salary Minimum $28/hr - Salary Maximum $45/hr
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of Long’s Jewelers salary range for this position. Actual salaries vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, contribution to the success of the company, and performance.
