What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structured Credit Investment Associate position at Long Ridge Partners?
We are working with an alternative asset manager seeking an Associate to join their Structured Credit Investment team. The Associate would focus on investing in private ABS transactions, specifically in the transportation space (railcar, shipping, maritime, aviation, fleets, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Due Diligence: Perform end-to-end due diligence on prospective structured credit investments, including deep-dives into business models, industry research, and meeting with potential borrowers/originators.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex asset-level and portfolio cash flow models to evaluate various deal structures and stress cases.
- Structuring & Underwriting: Collaborate with senior team members to structure and underwrite private credit opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required
- Experience: 1-4 years of experience in banking or buyside
- Coverage: ABS transportation experience required
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
