- Our client is one of the largest alternative asset managers. They are looking to hire a Principal of Investments on their $90bn multi-asset investing platform.
The Role:
- The client is seeking a Senior Allocator to join the multi-asset investing leadership team. This is a high-impact role responsible for the deployment of capital into external managers and co-investment opportunities. The successful candidate will be a key architect of the portfolio, identifying "best-in-class" talent and strategies to drive risk-adjusted returns across the $90B platform.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Allocation: Lead the sourcing, due diligence, and selection of external hedge fund managers and specialized investment partners.
- Portfolio Construction: Direct the weighting and rebalancing of multi-strategy portfolios, ensuring optimal diversification across Absolute Return and Opportunistic mandates.
- Manager Monitoring: Maintain high-level relationships with underlying managers, conducting rigorous ongoing quantitative and qualitative performance assessments.
- Liaising with Clients: Conduct recurring client meetings to discuss portfolio performance and attribution, opportunity set, and client objectives.
Candidate Profile:
- 10 years of experience in fund-of-funds, OCIO, an endowment/foundation, or a sophisticated multi-manager platform.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to represent the firm at the highest levels of the global investment community.
- A passion for global financial markets and hedge funds, and an understanding of different strategies that hedge funds employ
Salary : $200,000 - $275,000
