What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Educators for Summer Day Camp Head Counselor position at Long Ridge Day Camp?
Traditional Day Camp looking for a dynamic Teacher to lead a Camp Group. The Camp Group will have about 22 campers and there will be a total of 4 staff members (another adult senior assistant with others in high school and college). Ability to get campers involved and excited is a must. Sports, Arts, Nature and Swimming Instruction are all part of the Camp day and many of those activities are lead by Specialists with support from the Group Counselors!
We love looking for adults who have teaching background and for which this would be a "natural fit" during our 8 week summer program. Historically, our adult Counselors have stayed for many years and become part of the "Camp Family".
Teaching Experience Required – prior Camp experience a plus!
Camp runs from June 22nd - August 14th, Monday through Friday 9am – 4:30pm.
