What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer: Annual Impact Report Design (Digital) position at Long Island Housing Services, Inc.?
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
Graphic design volunteer needed! Design a professional 32-page digital annual impact report based on our draft and last year’s PDF. Work across four phases over 4–5 weeks: brainstorm metrics, present a preliminary layout, iterate with 1–2 feedback sessions, and deliver a final editable source file plus a shareable PDF. We will supply branding, copy, data, stories, and images.
A clear, donor-ready impact report will help us communicate how our advocacy and education eliminate unlawful housing discrimination and promote decent, affordable housing. Strong visuals and concise metrics will improve donor understanding, strengthen support, and increase visibility for the communities we serve.
We have a draft report, branding guidelines, copy, key metrics, images, and a planned 4–5 week schedule. Our team will attend the brainstorm and feedback sessions, provide timely reviews, and maintain the final editable files for future updates. Volunteers can expect 15–30 hours of collaboration.
Long Island Housing Services Inc. Mission: Our mission is the elimination of unlawful housing discrimination and promotion of decent and affordable housing through advocacy and education.
