Position Overview

As an Accounting Services Associate, you will oversee the full cycle of bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients across various industries. This role requires a strong understanding of financial record-keeping, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively within our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, bank accounts, and credit card statements for multiple clients.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Oversee payroll processing, including tax reporting and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for client reporting and analysis.
• Assist in tax preparation by organizing and summarizing financial data for accountants and CPAs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and government regulations.
• Provide client support, addressing inquiries related to financial transactions and reports.
• Collaborate closely with CPAs and accountants to assist in financial reporting and strategic planning.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience preferred, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel. Experience with payroll and accounting software is a plus.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Certifications: QuickBooks Certification or other bookkeeping certifications are a plus but not required.
