We are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers and technicians in identifying, sourcing, ordering, and invoicing parts for heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks. The ideal candidate has strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service while supporting both our service department and retail customer.

The Parts Counter Salesperson is responsible for accurately identifying and procuring parts, processing sales transactions, and maintaining positive relationships with customers, technicians, and vendors. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department by providing timely and accurate serv
ce.
Key Respons
ibilties
• Greet and assist customers and technicians in person and over
the hone.
• Identify the correct heavy-duty and medium-duty truck parts using manufacturer catalogs, electronic lookup systems, and oth
er resurces.
• Provide accurate pricing, product availability, and estimated
deliver times.
• Process parts orders, invoices, returns, exchanges, and warranties accurately
and effciently.
• Support the service department by supplying the correct parts
in a timey manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ve
ndors, andcoworkers.
• Keep current on heavy-duty truck parts, accessories, and
industry dvelopments.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe parts co
unter and inentory area.

Education
• igh School iploma or GED.
Experience
• 3–6 months of previous parts counter, automotive, truck deale
rship, or related custome
r ervice experience preferre.
