🛠️ What You’ll Do as a Counter Sales Representative:
Responsibilities
As a Counter Sales Representative, you’ll assist customers with ordering and receiving the parts they need to keep their equipment running. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for walk-ins and phone orders, ensuring accuracy, fast service, and satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers in a professional manner
- Process parts orders and troubleshoot parts issues
- Check in and organize incoming parts in the parts warehouse
- Build and assemble hydraulic hoses as needed
- Assist with loading the shuttle truck
- Maintain warranty and non-warranty re-man core tracking
- Reconcile daily payments and credit card transactions
- Add freight charges to counter and shop tickets
- Support additional warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience
- Mechanical aptitude and strong computer skills
- Professional communication skills: phone, email, written, and in-person
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with Caterpillar parts systems
- Background in heavy equipment, parts warehouse, or industrial supply
