Join our dynamic team as an Equipment Operator, Yard Maintainer, and Shipping & Receiving Specialist! Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform yard maintenance tasks such as organizing storage areas, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by accurately processing inbound and outbound shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Assist with order picking using
pickers or other order selection tools to fulfill customer orders promptly. - Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge to prevent accidents or equipment failures.
- Load and unload trucks carefully while adhering to heavy lifting guidelines; ensure proper stacking and storage of materials.
- Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory movements, and yard activities to support warehouse management system documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or construction environments involving heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with warehouse experience including order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues quickly.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
