Position Summary
As a Carpenter Helper/Laborer, you will assist our carpenters and supervisors with a variety of residential construction tasks. No extensive experience is required—we are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, decking, siding, trim, and general carpentry work
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Assist with material deliveries and jobsite setup
- Follow directions from supervisors and lead carpenters
- Perform general labor and construction-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
- Construction experience is helpful but not required
