Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key contributor, you will play an essential part in building, repairing, and restoring structures with precision and care. Duties
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding projects using hand tools and power tools
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling safely on construction sites
- Install fixtures, mold remediation components, flooring, tile, drywall (plastering), stucco, and roofing materials
- Support concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plumbing, electrical wiring, and metal stud framing as needed
- Conduct restoration tasks including water damage remediation, water damage restoration, and general building repairs
- Assist with scaffolding setup, caulking, fixture installation, and finishing touches such as painting or drywall finishing
Experience
- Previous construction site experience or hands-on work in the construction or restoration industry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety protocols on job sites
- Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame and trim), masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work or related fields is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding projects
- Experience in remodeling or renovation projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, siding application or cabinetry is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures in construction environments
