Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry/Housekeeping professional to maintain cleanliness and ensure the proper handling of linens and clothing in a hospitality environment. Duties
- Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing guest rooms and common areas
- Handle special cleaning requests and ensure all items are cleaned according to hotel standards
- Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and cleaning materials
- Ensure proper storage and organization of cleaned items for easy access
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed to support overall hotel operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including dry cleaning is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving items throughout shifts
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability is a plus
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals
